The Alternative: Healthy Personal Pizza

 Yes, you read the title right, HEALTHY PIZZA! There are several different ways to make healthy pizza but today I will be showing you the “tortilla method”.

IMG_1792Most pizzas are close to 350 calories a SLICE! Now I know that no one eats only 1 slice. At least I know I don’t.

What you need: One 100% whole wheat tortilla, sliced tomatoes, shredded mozzarella cheese, spinach.

STEP ONE: Sprinkle cheese on tortilla to your liking.

STEP TWO: Place the sliced tomatoes on tortillas as needed.

STEP FOUR: Sprinkle shredded spinach on top, along with any other toppings you may like. (keep it healthy)

STEP FIVE: Sprinkle more cheese on top.

STEP SIX: Set the oven to 350 degrees and set it to BROIL. Leave the pizza in for 1 to 2 minutes. Take it out the oven & let it cool down then ENJOY!

That simple. Quick and easy. Mmmmmm!
