The Alternative: Healthy Pumpkin Spice Muffins

Howdy! I am a absolute sweet tooth kind of gal! I loveeee muffins, cookies, cake, and brownies. Mmmm I’m getting a cavity just thinking about it. However these sweet delicious little creatures are usually anywhere from 400 to 700 calories. NO LIE. Plus, they probably cost about $2.39 at your nearby cafe. Well I have some good news for you. I will teach you how to make  these BIG pumpkin spice muffins that only have about 160 calories. Your welcome.IMG_5924

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

Betty Crocker’s Super Moist Spice Cake Mix

Pumpkin Puree

1/2 Cup of Water

STEP ONE: Mix the above ingredients

STEP TWO: Pour mix into muffin pan

STEP THREE: Bake!!! For 15 to 20 minutes w/ the oven set to 350 degrees.

STEP FOUR: Take muffins out and let them cool off.

STEP FIVE: Eat!!! And enjoy!!!

I made 12 muffins with the mix. Costing about .30 cents each! Beats that $2.39 aye?

I enjoyed the muffins deeply, but I must admit there was a tad bit more spice than I liked. Add dark chocolate chips to the mix with some Low Fat Cool Whip and that muffin is heaven. Enjoy.
